What experience or level of fitness do I need? 

We are open to anyone with any level of experience, with introductions for complete beginners and coaching and training for experienced rowers. You need to be capable of good physical exercise but being super-fit is not necessary, we'll work to your level.

Can Children join in? 

We can't accept anyone under 18 at the moment.

What shall I wear? 

Wear comfortable clothes suitable for sport, such as jogging bottoms or leggings, jeans are not ideal. Bring layers, a water-resistant jacket and a dry bag. 

Do I need to row competitively? 

You can row as much or as little as you like and this can be socially or competitively. 

Do I need my own transport? 

We are a short walk away from Newhaven train station and we try to car share whenever possible so please let us know if you need help with travel arrangements.

How often of you go out? 

We have several rows a week. Some early morning, late evening, during the day and at weekends. It is weather dependant and so we do sometimes have to cancel due to bad weather.
